Prayer flags are used to bless surroundings and are found strung along mountain roads,
summits and temples in the Himalayas. We contribute a % of all purchases we make from Nepal to Child Rescue Nepal.
A roll of prayer flags come in sets of five. One in each of five colours.
The five colours are arranged from left to right in a specific order: blue, white, red, green, and yellow.
The five colours represent the five elements and five pure lights.
Different elements are associated with different colours for specific traditions, purposes and sadhana.
Blue symbolises the sky and space, white symbolises the air and wind, red symbolises fire, green symbolises water, and yellow symbolises earth.
Prayer flags have been fixed to homes and spiritual places to bring happiness, prosperity, peace, long life and knowledge to the planter.
